LTAPE evaporator is the abbreviated name for Low-Temperature Atmospheric Pressure Evaporator. It is a new-concept plastic evaporator that operates at atmospheric pressure using a refrigerant heat pump as its energy source.
The primary energy source of the LTAPE evaporator is a refrigerant heat pump unit, which can provide a heat source of 50–60°C and a cold source of 15–20°C. During the evaporation process, the heat source heats and atomizes the wastewater, generating steam. The steam is transported via airflow to the condenser, where the cold source condenses the acid vapor into a liquid, achieving the purpose of evaporation and separation. The entire process operates under atmospheric pressure.
The features of the LTAPE evaporator are as follows:
1)The temperature during evaporation is low, only 50~55℃. The evaporation tower can be made of almost all plastic materials, such as PPH/PE/FRP, etc., and no special insulation is required when installed indoors. The circulation pump can be made of materials such as PP/PTFE/PVDF and does not require cooling during operation; The heating heat exchanger materials have a wide range of options due to temperature advantages, and materials such as stainless steel, titanium, Hastelloy, and silicon carbide can be used. Thermosensitive organic compounds are not prone to reaction/decomposition; Environmentally friendly; The condensate temperature is low, only about 25°C, allowing a wide range of material options for the condenser heat exchanger due to the temperature advantage, such as Hastelloy, silicon carbide, SUS316L, etc.;
2)The condensate temperature is at room temperature, making it convenient for subsequent transportation, storage, use, or disposal;
3)The materials and electromechanical equipment used in the system are low-cost. The main body of the evaporator is made of PP material, and the heat exchanger operates at low temperature and low pressure (approximately 0.1~0.2 MPa), providing more options and easy cost control.
